Hi, I’m Ty King. I’m a sound mixer based out of Austin, Texas. I was born in Mustang, Oklahoma and raised in Austin. I’ve always had a passion for music - growing up you couldn’t stop me from banging on pots and pans, much to the dismay of my parents. I started playing guitar during the 2020 lockdown, and that kindled my love for music into a passion for all things sound.

My film journey began when I bought an old hi8 camcorder and started documenting my life. Soon after, in 2024, I decided to take a film class, where I met Justin Parker and instantly hit it off, working together on several class projects until ultimately joining Parker Film House in 2025. I hope to continue to grow as a sound mixer and filmmaker, and Parker Film House is just the right place to launch my career.
